Project Better Place Names Joe Paluska as Chief Marketing Officer
Palo Alto, Calif. (April 3, 2008) --- Project Better Place (www.projectbetterplace.com) today named Joe Paluska as its chief marketing officer. Paluska will be responsible for all marketing, communications and branding activities and assist in the development and implementation of Better Place’s strategic direction. He will report to Founder and Chief Executive Officer Shai Agassi.

Paluska will lead the development and execution of Better Place’s integrated global marketing and communications program. In this role, he will be responsible for all internal and external communications; content development; media, analyst and government relations; consumer branding and marketing globally.

Prior to Better Place, Paluska served as director of Hill & Knowlton’s worldwide technology practice based in San Francisco, Calif., representing the firm’s largest industry sector in the United States and worldwide. At Hill & Knowlton, Paluska advised many industry-leading clients including BrightSource Energy, eBay, Cisco, Deloitte, HP, Intel, Motorola, PayPal, Project Better Place, Qualcomm, Symantec, THX, VantagePoint Venture Partners, VeriSign, and Yahoo! Paluska also lead the firm’s clean tech group, including its inaugural research on “Return on Environment” that defined an emerging c-suite role for managing a company’s commitment to the environment and measuring its return on investment.
Paluska holds a masters degree in business administration in finance from Lehigh University, and a bachelors of science in finance and economics from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
