Shai Agassi, Founder and CEO
Shai Agassi is the founder and CEO of Project Better Place, a company focused on the early 21st century’s biggest challenge - a scaleable and sustainable personal transportation system. In this role, Agassi works directly with governments, finance, automobile manufacturers and technology companies to install, scale, and operate a regional and global infrastructure necessary for electronic vehicles.
Idan Ofer, Chairman of the Board
Idan Ofer is Chairman of the Board of Project Better Place and Israel Corporation, Israel's leading holding company and the Chairman of Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., a former chairman of United Mizrahi Bank in Israel and is a member of the board in various distinguished companies active in the fields of Chemicals, shipping, energy and Semiconductors.
Aliza Peleg, Vice President of Operations
As vice president of operations, Aliza Peleg oversees the global business operations for Project Better Place. She manages the company's day to day financial and administrative functions and directs external facing initiatives for Project Better place including marketing, partner and community relations. Aliza is a founding member of Project Better Place and has been with the company since its first round of funding and official launch in October 2007.
Joe Paluska, Chief Marketing Officer
As the Chief Marketing Officer for Better Place, Joe Paluska leads all company-wide marketing initiatives designed to protect, manage and increase the value of Better Place’s global reputation and brand equity. He directs all aspects of the company’s global marketing, communication and branding activities, including messaging and positioning, media and analyst relations, government affairs, partner and customer communications, and marketing and brand strategy.
