Fuse this one with PBP and we will save the world

The DLR is like the NASA of Germany, so you really could take this stuff serious they found out.
In few words, they say, we (Europe) can get all its energyneed from reneables. With the use of WInd, Solar PV and Solarthermal, Geothermal und HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current).
I was stunned by the idea of fusing this concept with some hundred thousand or even some million Electric Vehciles an ERG in Europe. Imagine that.
What I forgot
In Germany some big utilities like EON want to sell they networks. (Production and Networks arn't really seperated from each other in Germany, all in the hand of EON, RWE, Vattenfall, ENBW)
But I guess the networks could really be a valueable asset in the future, when transportation of energy becomes more important. What is really the case, if we switch to renewables.
In infinite Grid like PBP can soften this Problem really drasticly.
